I'm Still Here! (though a little bruised at the moment)

Hey guys! I wanted to drop a quick update, since this past week has really been quite something, and I've needed a minute to get a handle on it. If you missed the conversation on Discord, I actually broke my nose last weekend 😅 Thankfully it wasn't too bad, but it set off a nasty week-long headache, and contributed to me having a stress/pain induced meltdown when I tried to film.

You have all been so supportive on Discord, and I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate you. I wound up having to take some time this week to not only physically recover, but get myself back into a healthy headspace so that I could keep going. Turns out getting my nose broken was the universe's way of getting my attention--it had to literally hit me in the face and tell me to slow down for a minute, and it wasn't until I did that I realized how much I really, really needed to.

Because we had all been chatting on Discord, it slipped my mind to post a specific update on here, and I apologize for that. But I can finally sit down to film without feeling like my head is going to explode (both literally and metaphorically), and I'm excited to get back to doing what I love--watching movies and making reactions for you guys!

***One last note--as I'm sure you are all aware, SAG went on strike this week, and as a member, I fully support my union, and the decision to do so. While it doesn't affect what I do here and on YouTube, I think the timing of me needing to take a break worked out as a moment of solidarity for the actors and writers specifically not working right now, as well as all the other hard working people in the industry that are being affected. I don't know if it was purely a coincidence or not, but this definitely seemed like a bit of fate, and I respect everyone who has halted work, and made sacrifices to be on the picket line, fighting for what we deserve. I stand with both SAG and the WGA, and will continue to do so.

None of us, not the production crews, or people like me who make our living (or are trying to lol) by extension of it, would be here without you, and I speak on behalf of myself, my union, and all of my fellow creatives when I say thank you, and we appreciate you.
