I've had so many people mention that 😄 I meant to put a little insert in the video, but alas. It was such a beautiful detail!

I am 100% with you on the "Jamie teaching Roy to ride a bike" and "team pillow fight" as being completely EPIC!!! To those I add: the scene where Isaac gives Sam a haircut (a montage, to the music of "Down By the Riverside" as sung by the abso-forking-lutely brilliant Mahalia Jackson) and the "So Long, Farewell" number from the finale. I'm not too proud to admit it - but I was shrieking with joy. And then when Trent Crimm (Independent) started yelling and waving his jacket around? I completely lost it. SO GOOD! Along with you, I am not okay. WAAAAHHHH!!!!

One other little callback I wanted to mention - although it only "calls back" to the last episode or the one before (can't recall.) The little girl who played the Flying Dutchman's daughter is the same little girl who played "child Rebecca" who appeared in the mirror when Rebecca was "making herself big" before the Akufo/owners meeting.

You're so welcome! I promise, this has been just as wonderful an experience for me as I hope it has been for all of you, and I'm so grateful I got to share with people who love this show as much as I do 😊 I hadn't made the connection with the gold paint, and I think that was such a beautiful detail/callback. If there's one thing these writers are good at, it's a callback 😄 We're Richmond 'til we die ❤️

Yes, Sleepless in Seattle was on The Shame List, as was When Harry Met Sally (again, I don't actually have a good reason for never having seen those, much like all the other movies on TSL 😅...It shocks me what I got through film school without watching/spoiling). As far as Ted Lasso...it's been such a joy to share this experience with all of you, and I'm so excited to get to watch this show with Sam again. Ted Lasso has been so special for my experience on YouTube up to this point, so I definitely have a lot of emotions tied up in that. 1. I do remember that, so it makes perfect sense that he would be a pilot (even if I don't 100% agree with him and Rebecca as a canon couple 🤷🏼‍♀️...could've been worse though!) 2. I'm grateful they at least included some of those details in the headlines, though I think it proves that the writing is not nearly as strong as it was in season one...all of those things should have been addressed in the course of the show, rather than "easter eggs" at the very end. One woman's opinion though! There was much more to love this season than to hate, and I will forever be thankful for the Amsterdam episode. Literally, the pillow fight and Jamie teaching Roy to ride a bike will go down in history as some of the greatest moments of television, and they still make me smile to think about them! We're Richmond 'til we die. ❤️

Please do! No need to credit, I admit, I didn't notice them until I saw them posted on Reddit myself.

@Kevin C, if you don't mind I would like to share "Easter egg #2" with another Patron I follow so that they to can find fulfillment with the "Character Growth"/"Wrap-Ups" one would miss if not for Eagle-Eyed viewers like yourself. 🦅👀🐰🥚🔎🐇🥚

I want to also thank you for sharing your reactions to this amazing series. It’s been an amazing experience. Did you notice that Nate used gold paint to repair the Believe sign?. Wonderful review. I thought it was a cool callback to Tish’s Kintsugi bowl.

Thank you, Jacqui, for sharing this season with us. It’s been wonderful watching it with you. I’ll see you on the Shame List next. And…it sure seems like Sleepless in Seattle should be a Shame List pick, doesn’t it? Personally, I feel this season was a notch above Season 2, but I agree that it’s impossible to top Season 1. There are so many Easter eggs and callbacks and I just don’t want to microanalyze this one…but I want to point out two things. 1. Back in Amsterdam, when Rebecca was poking around on the Dutch Man’s boat, we did see an entire wall devoted to planes, with models and posters of them, so they set up the pilot thing pretty well there. 2. I hope upon rewatch (if you haven’t already), look at the various news stories when Ted is looking at newspapers at the airport. Many of our side characters got wrap-ups, some more surprising than others…especially the next contestant on Lust Island (or whatever the show was called). Thank you again for sharing your experiences with this show with us.

What makes any comedy 'great' is the time the audience spends laughing. IMHO, what made "Ted Lasso' the greatest comedy of all time, was that we spent at least as much time crying as laughing. In retrospect, it was simple... just a simple extraordinary fish out of water story. That's all it really was... but in 'Ted Lasso,' the extraordinary part was an extra ordinary love... that left us all in tears... laughing in tears. I want to thank everyone involved in making this magic show. 'Ted Lasso' was so very special, even as it was simple. And Thank You Jacqui, for sharing your love of this extraordinary series. You generously added laughs, tears, and smiles of your own. ...and yes, you called it!
