No spoilers, but it just gets better and better every episode, especially down the stretch. Story-wise, character development, staging, and even twists—everything builds to a crescendo as they say.

Even just from the little I've seen, I can't recall watching anything quite like this in animation...the closest I could compare would be "Into the Spider-verse," but even that feels like an unfair comparison, because they're so different. But I'm blown away by Arcane so far!

2023-05-11 17:47:32 +0000 UTCI knew it was associated with League of Legends (I think it's on the poster, or part of the title), but I didn't know if it was based on a specific plot line, inspired by, etc. I know nothing about LOL, so admittedly that information doesn't do much for me 😅 But I had no idea it was three episode arcs, so now I'm incredibly curious! I probably would have been pretty confused without that information lol

2023-05-11 16:01:40 +0000 UTCOnly thing you need to know about Arcane going into it is that it takes place in the world of League of Legends, and the 9 episode season is in 3 episode arcs. When Netflix released it, they only released it 3 episodes at a time over a 3 week period. And it's ratings on RT is top tier from both critics and audience.
