She Jinxed It...

Just wanted to keep you guys updated, apparently my mom jinxed herself when she had her hand surgery earlier this year--she said it would be her last surgery. Oops. She had to go in for emergency surgery to put in a pacemaker last week, since it turns out her heart was stopping intermittently, and one point it stopped for 11 seconds, which almost made her pass out. As soon as her doctor found out, she was in surgery later that day. She's doing great now, and we're all breathing much easier. But it was a really stressful time, as it also turns out my shower wasn't the only water damage--we've had leaks from the rain, and will probably have to gut our kitchen, since we have significant mold throughout. I can be in my room for a few hours at a time to film, but I've temporarily moved in with family--which actually works out, because I can help my mom with stuff while she's recovering. That's all been happening this past week, and I wanted to let you guys know, it's all just been crazy with plumbers and contractors, being at the hospital, and work on top of that--apparently these things come in threes, with my deadline hitting the other week. Thankfully, things have finally settled down! It was frustrating that it all hit just as I was starting up my growth challenge, but that's life, and we keep going! And hopefully I'll hit full-time soon, and at least outside work stuff won't have to be a factor anymore. Thank you guys again for all your support! Onward!
