By the time Bo Katan made her Night Owls (a group under her control) she had made different armor to her female followers, giving the T shape visor differently from the males. The T visor was made because it’s a better way to protect the face of the user. Bo Katan is a princess of Clan Kryse, she was the ruler of Mandalore when the Empire dropped fuse bombs on her home planet. So when you mentioned that Bo is the right candidate to be a leader is because she was one. Also to TAME a Mythosaur is the key to be King/Queen of ALL Mandalorians, the Dark Saber being second to none.
