Spoilers to who that hasn't seen it. Ok so basically we see that Chaek OK (Han So Hee character) came back to life because the worm that created monster mom and now entering her (I think mom also died in the process). Now she is also a monster creature. We see there is a lot of time skip and now we are in Korea post independence, so I think Park Seo Joon new character is his descendent who just has the same face. The monster study still continue that the psycho doctor got the monster baby from Akiko so who knows, maybe new season Chaek Ok and PSJ great grandson (who knows how many great it is), will investigate new development of creature studies either in Korea or if they both will go to Japan this time
