The NPSeeds Saga Continues...
Added 2024-06-21 12:00:10 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Hope you've been enjoying the Kanin books so far. As you might have guessed from the way Loose Kanin ended, things are going to be shaken up a little bit going forward!
I've written (well, I'm still working on one) 3 spin-off books that take place in the immediate aftermath of Loose Kanin. These books effectively start immediately after the events of Chapter 45.
These books are intended to be entry points to the series, meaning people could read them without the context of Glass Kanin and Loose Kanin and still have a good time. However, If you've read the Kanin books, you'll get more out of the spin-offs. Each series reveals a bit more of the world and history, so together you might be able to start stitching together some things. In the future, I expect these characters to cross over into each other's books.
I'll be posting the spin-offs this summer and fall, staggered about a month apart. What follows is my tentative Patreon release schedule:
July 1st: A Little Salty (3 ch/week)
August 19th: Friendly Fyre (3 ch/week)
October 7th: Nyte in Shining Armor (3 ch/week)
Yes, this does mean there will be some weeks where you're getting 6-9 chapters per week. If you don't like one of the stories, hopefully the others will float your boat!
ALSO, I don't want to make you guys wait half a year for the third Kanin book (Kanin Fodder), so here's my proposed compromise: I post 1 rough draft Kanin Fodder chapter each Friday as I draft it, starting July. I know that's slower than usual, and it certainly won't be polished, but while I work on Nye (and finish edits on Fyre [yes I have a lot on my plate]) that's about all I can manage.
And hey, if that's not what you signed up for, I totally get it! Who cares about these other three guys? You want more Kanin! (Or Noli and Zyneth. That's fair lol) If that's the case, I will completely be unoffended if you unsubscribe from the Patreon. If you'd like, you can sign up for my newsletter at the link below, and I will email you when there's a significant backlog so you don't feel like you're wasting your time or money.
