2023-04-25 16:05:58 +0000 UTCI think he was feeling just fine and unashamed of his poop surprise. It's expected to happen at some point. Foxes like to poop 💩 . Foxes pant when they are happy and excited, which in this case was his reaction rather than nervous.

He was panting which I find my dog does this when he’s not feeling well or upset and nervous. Could also be he was upset for pooping on the bed🤷♀️. Of course it could also be that it’s simply toasty in the house and he’s overheated🤔. Anyhoo…I hope Ethan doesn’t trash that nice blanket. Some disinfectant and a super hot wash will clean that. You can also spot treat first. If all fails..like you said…it would make a nice fox blanket..or a couple.
