Primarily utilized by their covert squad, it plays a crucial role in monitoring and safeguarding their secret sanctuaries against those who seek to exploit the ley line nexus hidden beneath. Adorned with heavily enchanted silk strings, the ear cuff significantly amplifies the wearer's hearing, enabling them to extend their auditory range to remarkable distances and focus on specific sounds, ensuring they can track them wherever they may lead.

While you’re wearing and attuned to these ear cuffs, you can use them as a spellcasting focus. When casting a spell using the earrings, you gain a bonus to spell attack rolls and spell save DCs equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounded down).

Resonant Whispers. You gain blindsight out to a distance of 10 feet times your proficiency bonus, as long as you’re not deafened. Additionally, by spending 1 minute in concentration, you can extend your hearing to a range of up to 1000 feet to pinpoint and mark the source of a sound you are familiar with or have heard before. This mark lasts for 1 hour or until your concentration ends (as if you are concentrating on a spell). While focused on this mark, you can hear sounds emanating from within 5 feet of the marked source and sounds within 5 feet of yourself, but no other sounds. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and regain all expended use after a long rest.
