New project!

Hiya! I'm going to edit this post to public soon, but wanted to give you guys the news first.

Around this time last year, I posted that I would be working on a travel diary comic about mine and Stef's trip to America. And I did! For a little bit - until I got too busy and the project got pushed aside while I worked on my other deadlines.

It seemed really dumb to let the project go though - I had already drawn a bunch of strips and had a sketchbook full of comic drafts about the trip that I still wanted to put out.  So heck! I don't know how soon after a trip you're supposed to then put the comic out about it, but I'm just gonna be fashionably late on this one. 

I didn't want to talk about it until I had a chunk of it finished, but I'm now 32 strips completed out of the 45 planned so I think I'm good to go.

The diary comic is titled 'Our Super American Adventure',  and features strips from travelling to the States, LA, San Diego, and New York to home again. From tomorrow I will be posting a comic from the series from Mondays to Fridays, 5 days a week, for $5+ Patrons. 

If you're a $5 Patron, you'll be getting these strips a long time before the public. I posted up some of the strips when I first started the project last year on Patreon, but I've since recoloured a few and re-lettered them, so I will be reuploading those alongside with a lot of unseen content.

My current plan is to share the comics with $5+ Patrons first, and then once I have the book in print I'll have it available on my shop and will be posting a comic a day between Monday and Friday to my main website. $1+ Patrons will see these strips a day before the public when I do this! 

I still need to get the book print ready, and then printing takes roughly six weeks.  I'm planning to have the book some time in August, so $1+ Patrons can expect to see updates from the book around then I think.

I am planning on printing the book similar to the Our Super Adventure book - hardcover, same size.  The book will contain print exclusive content, such as photos from our trip and small illustrations.
