Hi everyone, here's the painting half of the drawing video I posted last month. The main take away from these two videos is the basic idea to separate the elements and focus on one at a time.

The ending of this video is a bit different and if you watch the video you'll see what I mean. If I could express myself better through words I might be able to explain why I did what I did. But just like I mention in the video I was not after a finished painting or even a finished study. I just did it as a demonstration and it did serve that purpose well enough. So perhaps one more lesson to take away from this video is don't always be focused on making finished artwork, do plenty of studies and simple exercises where you allow yourself time to focus on specific art elements.
