Coffee Weaning

Hey everyone, this is a graphic of the weaning approach I did for coffee. I've suspected I would feel better without coffee a couple times in the past but finally got around to getting off it and confirmed this suspicion. I might make a post or a video about the science of why I have less appetite overall without coffee, why I have more energy and why I no longer have to get up to pee 3 times a night anymore but TBH I haven't looked into it yet.

If anyone has been interested in getting off coffee caffeine or whatever it might be (I'm sure you could use this approach for carbs for example), this was quite painless. Also the point of the decrease, increase then decrease again is to give you something to look forward to the next day after you're disappointed by the decrease.

This worked well and I haven't had coffee since the 5th. This is pretty significant considering how many years I've been drinking coffee - always wavering between either a normal amount or a lot.

At the moment, I think some people respond better and some respond worse to coffee/caffeine. I happen to do better without it. So, if you feel totally fine and you happen to drink coffee, don't let me make you feel like you have to add one more thing "to do" to your diet.

now I never have caffeine,,if I happen to randomly have a high caffeine tea, I'll have a fast bowel issue later every single time. It's strange how overworked people's bodies must be constantly consuming this stuff. Once you're off things you can literally see how your body reacts to these poisons.

My wife started this past month and has yet to give up coffee, but maybe this will encourage her
