Intermittent Fasting - Problems?

Hey everyone,

I'm getting back into this topic and am looking to make a "guide" video. Basically explaining what to expect when doing IF, how to make easier and more effective.

Who has tried it and what problems have you ran into?
Or, if there's anything you're particularly curious about that you would like to hear address I'd be happy to know that.

Personally I've been doing this for the past year, and a lot of you may know me from my One Meal a Day video, but TBH my eating is more like a 2 - 4 hour eating window rather than one big meal. I used to do the one meal as that was straightforward and easy - make a big meal, eat it, done. But, too much food at once would make me sleepy so now I eat a little bit, wait at least 20 minutes, eat a bit more and do that until I feel satiated. Takes about an hour, sometimes I get busy and other things get in the way so I finish eating a little later meaning the eating window sometimes goes up to 4 hours. For example today I started eating at 4PM, finished around 7PM.

What I expect most people's concerns have to do mainly with
[a] Hunger and [b] Can I eat XYZ without breaking the fast? (i.e. Basically [a])

Some things I'm planning on talking about
-Hormones
-Diet composition that would synergize with IF
-How to time your morning and evening
-Coffee
-Water, Minerals
-Cheat Days
& How each of these points relate to hunger.

Comments

Maybe you could add "& How each of these points relate to sleep.", because for example caffeine affects melatonins capacity to bind to adenosin-receptor-1.

Hey, I've personally got the gist of it but I do have a question about if specific food in small amounts breaks IF. So when I make my coffee in the morning I add a teaspoon of coconut oil, 2.5 grams of ground cocoa powder, and like 1.25 grams of ground cinnamon. I know that the coconut oil doesn't break fasting because it's fat, but what about the other two things? I tried researching but I couldn't find anything conclusive. Some people are saying that even like a glass of milk doesn't break fasting but I have no idea.
