I go into Madeline and Helen’s relationship, how the camp and satire accidentally creates some timeless social commentary, how it gained a cult following among members of the LGBT and queer culture -- most noticeably on the runway of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and whether or not it’s a product of its time!
