And with the release of Godzilla Vs. Kong, the lack of them in the story has made me recollect not only the inspirations for the beginning of the MonsterVerse, but also how Godzilla, Mothra, and King Kong are just as important as Serizawa, Joe Brody and Madison Russell in Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters
