Upcoming Changes (Important Please Read)

Greetings, I hope you all had a good time this first week of the year.

As some of you may know, English is not my mother tongue and I am not very good at it, so for the following text I helped myself with a translator, so if there is something that is not well understood, I apologize in advance and I invite you to leave your doubts in the comments. Just in case, I will leave attached a word document with all this text in Spanish, for those who may be interested.

The reason for this post is to notify you all that from February I will make some adjustments, modifications and additions regarding the patreon tiers, the reason for these changes is due to three reasons:

First of all there is the fact that the current descriptions of the tiers do not correspond at all with the rewards that are currently being delivered, referring to the exclusive drawings of each month. As you know since a few months ago I no longer made a single drawing but three per month, so I wanted to record in these descriptions to which each new member will have access.

The second reason is a money issue. Between February and March I will make the price increase of the commissions for this year, and some of the current rewards (referring to the reward drawings and discounts on commissions) are no longer in line with what I currently charge for certain orders, which is generating me losses, and an unnecessary excess of work.

To give an example, the silver tier, which is $8, has as a reward a half-body drawing in flat color, a drawing that if I were asked for it as a commission would cost $15, practically double the money. This is not a problem with members who join and stay as patrons for several months, but it has already happened in more than one occasion that someone joins only for a month to claim the drawing in question, which as you can imagine does not help me, so I have decided to make some changes regarding this, eliminating this reward of some tiers, and giving time limits to claim them in those tiers where they are still available.

It should be clarified, that these changes for the moment will only apply to new members who join patreon after these changes, but if you are already an old patron these changes will not affect you, at least during this 2023, depending on how the situation progresses this year I will have to consider applying it in a general way for 2024.

I know this may cause discomfort to some of you, but I hope you understand that the reason for opening this patron was to have additional support, and if in the end what I get here is less than what I could get doing the same workload based on commissions and other assignments, then it's a deal that really doesn't suit me.

The third and last reason is because I wanted to add 2 new tiers to the list:

The first one will be an intermediate tier between blue and pink, this tier already existed some time ago but I removed it for not having anything to offer, but I have decided to activate it again in case someone interested in supporting with more than 1$, but does not want to spend 5, 8 or more dollars in the higher tiers.

The second tier instead, will be a new maximum tier of 40$, limited to 2 or 3 members.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and if anyone wants to withdraw their contribution from patreon after the changes because they don't like it, they can do it without guilt, I will understand completely. 

These are the new descriptions that will be available soon. The update in the descriptions of the existing tiers will be done this month between the 15th and 16th, while the new tiers will be added by February 1st.

In addition to all this, I've also been thinking about opening a gumroad account to distribute the exclusive reward drawings also through there, as well as trying to use the deviantart subscription system (although I still have to investigate how that works) and Pixiv fanbox, in order to try to cover more public and give an option to those who for one reason or another do not want to join patreon, the idea I currently have with this is only distribute the drawings there, and leave the rest of rewards only available for patreon members.
