May Update [Hiatus update]

The big news is that I finished 100th Run book 4! I'm pretty happy with how it all turned out. I am going to have to trim down some fat for publication because it came out at a huge 167k, but that's not a concern for any of you. Y'all got the full Run experience!
Unlike what I initially thought, the book actually ends on chapter 183! That means the last chapter drop before my two week hiatus will be next Thursday on the 30th! I will be back to posting on June 17th for book 5.
Once again, the last chapter drop of book for is 5/30, and I will be on hiatus until 6/17 so I have time to compile book 4 and outline book 5!

Salutations, readers!
We're coming up on the climax of book 4, with only a few more weeks to go. I originally planned on ending with chapter 180, but it looks like it's going to be a little longer than that. Which makes sense, I do tend to fail at being brief when I can add things.
That said, once book 4 ends, I will be taking a short two week break from posting. I'll make sure to update this post with the date the last chapter will be going up once I know for sure so people can unsub during that time if they want to. I don't see it going over chapter 182, personally, but don't want to commit to that just yet.
This will be the first actual break that I'll be taking from writing since I started back in January of last year. I don't count November because I wrote 130k words in a month for Courier Quest and then got right back into Run.
Worth, though.
I'm going to be putting a pause on things for a few reasons. Part of it is to plot book 5 because, despite being a pantser, I'm going to need a solid roadmap for this one. Another part is to decide what to do with the series regarding its length. The Amazon release hasn't been as popular as everyone has hoped with book 3 barely making a splash (despite me thinking it's the best in the series so far.)
Make no mistake, though, I'm still committed to writing 100th Run to the best of my abilities. I love the story, the characters, everything, and I don't want it to fall by the wayside or to feel rushed in any way. It's just a small stumbling block.
