House Party 0.23.0 Alpha - Female Player Content Update

Hello there, Patrons! We've been working our asses off since we shared the “first look” at the female player, and we're hyped to announce that brand new content for her is ready for testing!

So, what’s fresh? Well, remember how some of you mentioned that the female character can’t do a pissing contest with Derek? Yyeeeah, she’s not really “equipped” for that, so she has a different way to bond with your favorite OG buddy. She also has an entirely new reason for being invited to the party - one that affects the storyline of the sexy southern belle hiding upstairs. There are a bunch of revamped greetings for the Original Story NPCs when they first meet the female player, different BGC to overhear, and new Objectives to complete, too - including six Opportunities for the female player ("Shirt Delivery", "Love Conquers All", "Host Hijinks", “Brittney’s Special Someone”, "The Crush", and "The Crushes"). You can even donate a spare piece of clothing (that fans of the Date Night with Brittney story might recognize). Aww! You’re, like, so generous! …Aren’t you?

We've gotten some questions about female intimacy, as well. The female player will be able to romance most of the NPCs that the male player can, and we’ve added Cutscenes to cover a number of the possible “one-on-one” intimacy routes the female player can pursue. There are two new female player Cutscenes available in this alpha: one with Patrick, and the other with Brittney. See if you can discover them both! Some of the romance scenes aren’t yet ready for this alpha release. As we work toward launching House Party 1.0, we’ll continue adding more scenes to the game. And hey, just because we’re releasing 1.0 doesn’t mean we’re going to stop adding content! We’ll still have post release updates planned for you down the line as well, including more romance scenes!

This update also includes technical improvements and tweaks! For example, we’ve made improvements to our, ahem, “jiggle physics”. We’ve also fixed a number of bugs that users reported, such as speakers/music failing to play, some outstanding wonky controller behaviors, Cutscenes “freezing”, various save/load-related issues, and more!
