Progress Update
Added 2023-03-28 15:57:01 +0000 UTCIt's been a rough month for me. I'm still feeling the effects of whatever virus I had at the start of the month. I still don't know if it was COVID or the Flu, but I am slowly feeling less lethargic, and the cough is 90% gone.
The month also brought about a close family friend's death due to cancer. 3 days before her son's birthday. Fuck Cancer!
So on top of feeling like I'm constantly playing catch up with my other work, I'm in a bit of this weird head space when it comes to art. I've put in about 30 hours of work for the next page of the comic, and I don't like any of it... I've decided to take a small break from it, just for a few days, maybe a week, tops.
I still have a need to make something though, but I think I need to try my hand at a few one-off pieces while I get my head back into things.
I just posted a Desktop Pin-Up for the VIP tier supporters, it's something I've been slacking on, and I want to get back to doing once a month. Browsing DeviantArt, I came across some renders of Gladys. I bought her off the Daz Store a while ago, and only ever used her once for Nunu's Birthday render in February. Most of the models I buy I like to try to kit bash together to make my own characters with, but Gladys is fairly great just as she is, (though I did plump her up a fair bit.)
I'm going to spend the next few days just seeing what inspires me. So expect some new characters, or maybe some old ones I have not visited for a while.

I kind of tried that. Originally the next page was going to be more of Megan and Brittney's conversation, but I was not liking what I had for layouts. It was just back and forth of the same kinds of renders as before. So what I tried to do was skip ahead to Michelle coming back, but I was also not liking any of the shots I was trying to set up for that interaction. Finally, I came to the conclusion that maybe it's not so much the scene, and more me just needing to work with something with fewer constraints on the content for a bit. After that I slapped together that pin-up without much trouble. So I'm going to try some more of that for a little bit and hopefully it will help things out when I come back to the comic in a few days' time.

Can sometimes be better to move on to the next scene to make progress there instead of getting stuck. Nothing wrong with a little retcon!
