January 27th to February 9th

Hey hi folks!

I'M WRITING AGAIN! Gosh this feels so good! I have a lot of it to do and it all felt daunting, so I decided to start writing one hour a day. This felt counter-intuitive, as there's no way I can get it all done on just five hours a week, but... it's actually really helping? Every day it takes less effort for me to get into a writing mood. I've started optimizing my time and having clear, distraction free writing hours on weekdays, and now I don't want to stop?

I used to write in very intense bursts, and then do a lot of other things, but... this might be the way? If I write an hour a day every weekday, I'll get there sooner or later, and I might get so inspired I just do more than that on any given day. But, baby steps; this year is about pacing myself, after all. One hour a day, and then we'll see. I'm already making good progress on Penelope And The Council, and after that, I'm starting Plant Lamp. And THAT'S exciting too, because I've been wanting to write that book for so long now.

So yeah. A little a day really does make a difference. Let's see how this goes down the line!

In the meantime my morning streams have succeeded in getting me to go to bed a little earlier and to start the day off feeling productive, which really helps my mood. I'm getting better at regularly uploading stuff to my youtube channel, I'm going though more and more of my task list... I'm making it, little by little. And I'll keep at it.

I'm excited and hopeful. ^^

And I wouldn't be able to do all this without your support! I keep having regular close calls with burning out, and having a stable foundation to build upon (and fall back onto) has been essential.
