Gagged with a Shark

Bah! Humbug! I do not like Decembers because it is a notorious stressful period and even as a strongly irreligious monarch I still aim to get Christmas presents for my castle staff as thanks for helping run it and serving me. I don’t like flexing my power so I went out to the shops like a commoner but I ended up coming home empty-handed due to the rush and I only have 15 days left! To distract myself from it, I decided to throw a slumber party with some of the other noblewomen. Problem is some of them are a bit too obsessed with seeing me in peril so I ended up tied up. I took Blahaj to the party and begged them to at least keep him nearby which they did…by gagging me with him. Smartarses…

It has been hit and miss with me recently. Let’s get the shit stuff out of the way first. After coming close to hitting 3000 followers, I had to private my Threads account for a while. Keeping it public was proving to be detrimental to my mental health as day after day I was getting lots of hate comments motivated by transphobia (it’s always transphobia), misogyny and religious ideology. Threads has seen a huge increase in hate as the Twitter twats are now going there since we left Twitter because Elmo Musket is turning it into another KiwiFarms and they kinda need us. Their only purpose is to attack and if we’re not on Twitter there’s no point in staying there (and I am never going back there). So they came to what was an initial safe space. I just couldn’t handle it anymore and it became so much that the usual religious mantra associated with it became so extreme that I pretty much banned any mention of religion on my Discord in any context just to avoid potential triggers. Even pre-transition I faced a lot of discrimination and even death threats for being an atheist and my dad’s wife repeatedly looked down on me for having a different view. I get that religion has helped some people feel solace and has given some sense of happiness and I respect that but for me it has done the complete opposite so I’d much rather avoid it completely. I’m not going to push people away simply for believing in God but I will request they keep it to themselves which benefits everyone. The privatisation has led to a decrease in followers but ultimately it’s more positive as I’ve now gone three days without receiving a single hate comment.

Good news is also on the horizon. My car is being repaired and I applied for a new job as customer service for an insurance company as I was recommended by a friend who thought I’d be great for the role and the company also has a LGBTQ+ friendly policy which means it’s unlikely I would face the same problem with something as mundane as going to the bloody toilet like at my current job. I’ll keep details posted. Also I’m loving the streaming of DIDnapper. It’s a pretty fun game and I do plan on doing one every weekend.
