The concept of the show is generally to cover a song but make it your own. Ateez is the only 4th Gen to win 4 times. You really should check out two things: Their collab with Kim Jungkook and the material around it. It's adorable and fun. Secondly, the rest of their Immortal Songs appearances. They are phenomenal even if you don't know the originals.

After they performed, one of the other contestants said this would probably be one of Ateez legendary performances and it truly is! This is performance is also the reason they keep getting invited back and have won 4 out of 6 times. The two they lost were King of King's specials, meaning all winning artists come back to perform so it's like the best of the best competing against each other. This episode was on the duo group Turbo which were the two guys you kept seeing, and singers had to go against each other with their chosen turbo song and Jungkook actually made a appearance on Ateez black cat Nero MV that you watched. They did win the show with this performance making them the FIRST ever male rookie group to win on this show because this show is where huge powerful singers come on to sing. They have won multiple times on the show after this as well and I definitely recommend watching the other immortal songs performances too.

The singers are specifically chosen and invited to the show and lipsyncing is 100% forbidden in the show. Ateez chose that song to cover because the guy in the orange Hawaiian looking shirt, Kim Jong Kook, and the dude next to him are some of the original artists. Kim Jong Kook liked their version of his song so much he collaborated with them and that's how Ateez official has that song in their discography. As always loved the reaction now.. GO REST!!!!

Each time it will pick a different really well known Korean singer/group and the artists and groups that are invited to compete have to do a cover of a song of the featured artist. Itโs a huge honor to be invited to compete on this show because they have to sing live. Ateez has been invited to compete 6 times and has won 4 times! All of their performances on this show are amazing. The man in the orange floral shirt that was shown in the audience a lot is the original singer of the song who was the featured guest of the episode. Heโs also who appeared in the end of the music video!
