Jinx is not dead! In a frame during the explosion, you can see a purple trail she left behind, heading toward one of the Hexgate ducts, which is why Caitlyn was investigating the facility's blueprint. In the first episode, Powder points to an airship and says that one day she would be on one of them. In the end, an airship is shown leaving Piltover—it was the way Jinx chose to break the cycle.
