Hey Michael, thanks for checking up man, yeah I truly underestimated moving and furnishing an entire apartment by myself. Also I know you are semi memeing with it but at the start of season 1 we learned why the windows are windows and not sorcerers, at this point Im not sure anymore if you remember this fact. Also Mechamaru is such a fucking genius dude. The concept of him making a pact on his life to make him come back is such a genius concept. Gojo getting sealed is such a huge trigger and power imbalance in the jujutsu world that you can make a pact to "revive" yourself temporarily based on that trigger. Insane. Cant wait for more bro you are not ready

2024-10-30 20:20:54 +0000 UTCFrom what I understood in this episode, Mei Mei was indeed being the devil's advocate and trying to see if Mechamaru was trustworthy/smart enough to make logical assumptions or if he was an enemy. She's very intelligent so basically she questioned Mechamaru's conclusion about her not being a traitor by saying "How would you think that I'm not a traitor when I'm the one keeping Itadori from going to Shibuya". A similar situation would be if you are innocent of a crime and someone that you don't trust and don't know about tells you that they know that you are innocent; you would be like "How do you know that I'm not the criminal, huh? Tell me more about it" to see how they ended up with that conclusion BUT also to see if they are trustworthy or just manipulating you. That's basically what Mei Mei did with Mechamaru here (I think). Then when Itadori insisted, she accepted to follow Mechamaru's instructions. Basically, Mei Mei was being careful and suspicious of Mechamaru, which is understandable considering the fact that they were in the middle of a crisis. Utahime did something similar when Gojo discussed with her the possibility of a traitor back in S1. She asked him "how do you know that I'm not the traitor" and he said that she was too weak and blabla haha. Mei Mei basically did the same thing except she went full on devil's advocate to see if Mechamaru was saying some nonsense or was actually smart and on our side. Something that is very noticeable this season is that there is a looooot of action but also a loooooot of information that is given. So don't hesitate to go back (like you usually do) and watch some scenes, especially if you've missed some lines. Almost every line in the following episodes will be important. Even I, who have watched this season several times, need to go back to some episodes to understand what happened or what has been said. They really dumped so MUCH information this season and it can be either during a fight or during a conversation. There's never a calm moment.
