Since this is an earlier ep I won't fully say it (and this is mostly for Swanii who has) but if you've watched the last ep of season 3, remember what Senjuro Rengoku told Tanjiro when he gave him the guard and how "that" made it to Tanjiro.

Thought it was neat! Also Muichiro is the only Hashira to take out an Upper Rank demon by himself. Absolute little bad ass.
