Hey Swanii dunno if you catch that but, we saw this "Guys that gives askeladd vibes" already on the show, first episode with thors on that war, remember? About the overview of the show: Remember the war that Floki said to Thors in the beggining? That the war started because of that surprise attack that killed the king's sister and gave the perfect opportunity for the King to invade England. This is the same conflict that started in 1002 (Episode one and Thorfinn was 6 years old when the show started). Now 10 years later in the current episode 8 (year 1012) thorfinn is 16years old and they are stopping to wait for winter season to end. Same as the king who withdraw his troops but we now are seeing the conflict engage again with the ending of the winter. What we know for now that is not a spoiler: Thorkell, that huge guy who throw the axe, is defending England. The King will invade England and are trying to get his son, Canute, on the frontline (Reasons to be explained yet). But that is pretty much it that I can say without spoilling XD There is a lot of development that we'll see and even political conflicts.
