They've been replacing powerlines and transformers in my neighborhood in preparation for hurricane season, and then I caught a bad case of the flu. Power has been intermittent, and it's really hard to sleep without the AC running. I genuinely lost all track of time. I'll be making it up by posting as much as I can for the rest of the month and then early next month. Expect 4-5 chapters/stories in the next couple of weeks, including a new chapter of Thrown Back as my next project. I hope you all are doing well.

Only a small hole really but Sirius gifted Harry a Pensieve for his birthday in chapter 13. Not significant but easy enough to edit out if you're a consistency nut like me.

Second, please clarify who is expecting the students to defend Hogwarts? I'm assuming Snape but am uncertain. I should also note that, to a real extent, that might be an unavoidable event. Voldi and his roadies are not likely to show any consideration based on their youth. Far better to prepare themselves. If nothing else, arranging a showing of Home Alone could be the difference between life and death. [I know that sounds mildly absurd (mildly?) but think about it. Maybe Fred and George could offer pointers (or watch the film and take copious notes).] In the same vein, while I respect Prof. McGonagall's desire to protect her students, thinking Harry will let the adults shoulder the burden of this war is a lost cause. That's what was supposed to happen in the first place. [And, again, thank you so much Minister Fudge.]
