Lucinda's Character Poll 1

Since I've finished Tutor Me, I've decided to start Lucinda's (Description at the bottom.) This has been a story that I've wanted to write for a while now, and I have 6 chapters planned, so it'll be a shorter story. I planned to wrote this story from Hermione's POV, but because Tutor Me wasn't that popular, I've been thinking about using a different character. So, I've decided to leave it up to all of you. Who do you want to use as the POV character for this story?

Character Poll 2 to decide who Harry sleeps with first is only available to those in Scholar tier and above.

Lucinda's

A few years after Hogwarts, Hermione and Ron get divorced. A few days after the papers are signed, Hermione overhears a couple of her co workers at the Ministry talking about.

"Granger's such a ball breaker, I'm not surprised they got divorced."

"Weasley said she was pretty boring in bed."

"She's hot, though. Did you see those pictures he sold to Lucinda's?"

Furious, Hermione leaves and Apparates straight to Lucinda's, a shop in Diagon Alley specializing in adult material. Striding into the store, she ignores the posters of barely dressed witches and wizards waving at her, and the phalic shaped objects littering the shelves, and strides to the counter. She stops in front of a tall, beautiful brunette wearing a tight leather corset and skirt, prominently displaying her hourglass figure.

When Hermione demands to know what pictures her ex-husband had sold, she's told that Harry already requested they be taken down. Quickly, she learns that Harry is a regular customer there, though Lucinda refuses to give her any specifics, and that her husband had sold the pictures for 500 Galleons. Lucinda explains that men often bring in pictures of their wives and post them as a way of showing off. The shop keeper hadn't known that Hermione and Ron had divorced, or she never would've allowed the pictures to be posted. Hermione leaves the shop feeling mixed emotion. She wondered why Harry would regularly go to that kind of shop, and what the hell Ron was thinking.

Hermione goes on to confront Ron, learning that he's back to his old habits of betting money he can't afford to lose on Quidditch. After threatening to castrate him if he ever sells pictures of her again, she leaves to talk to Harry. He explains that he still has PTSD from the war, and goes to Lucinda's to unwind. Hermione begs for details, but he refuses to give them to her, saying that she wouldn't understand.

Over the next few days, Hermione's curiosity eats away at her until she decides to go back to the shop. She wants to know what Harry is doing, both because she's worried about him, and disturbingly, the thoughts running through her head arose her.

So, essentially, this story focuses on Hermione and her sexual awakening after a bitter divorce. She'd go on to follow Harry and befriend Lucinda, eventually watching him in the midst of numerous sexual acts with a variety of women.

Harry/Katie would be great, there is wayy too little stuff with her

Stormfox2

I always love Harry/Katie interactions so that has my vote.

I too enjoyed Tutor Me. I enjoy seeing Hermione come out of her shell.

Bruce

I also enjoyed "Tutor Me". But I've been away for awhile, a lot to catch up on. Plus, it's always Hermione for me. Such an incredible witch.

whatsnext444

I actually quite liked tutor me but all stories must end sooner or later. Look forward to this going forward.

Gamerdood

Yes, it's been in a poll or two before, just never won.

Professor Quill

I believe I remember this idea being suggested before, and I really liked it with Hermione. I suppose some might find it tiring, but I don't tire of my favorite pair.

MasterKronus

Has the Lucinda's blurb been in a story before like one of the old monthly poll ones or a blurb from one of the monthly polls, I sware I read that before. About Tutor me, it is on my list of stories to read when I have time but it isn't at the top. It isn't because Hermione was a major viewpoint character (for the record I think I read the first chapter so I could have details wrong) it was because it was an alternative universe where I have no connection to them, yeah they are versions of our heroes but they aren't them. Older versions of our heroes, I'd care about though. I voted for Katie only because I love her but find her underrepresented, I'd be happy with Hermione in the new story. I'm guessing older Hermione has had some of her sharp edges worn off

Lettered Wolf

In the Lucinda poll I would have added the Patil sisters, Professor Vector or, Professor Sinestra(sp??). Or possibly all four🤷‍♂️ I recommended the two Professors with the thought that two relatively young female Professors need "relief" after working around so many 7th years without having any allowable males/female partners.

Douglas Braning

Speak for yourself.

Jonas Kairiūkštis

I think the low popularity is because of the female MC

DNAjester

Same. Ravenclaw representation has been on Luna's (and occasionally Cho's) shoulders. Give Penny a chance

jp9901

Katie has always been a favorite for pairing with Harry. Not enough out there.

If you really feel the need to change characters, Penny feels like an underrated character for this storyline… I also like the idea of a less used character like Katie but definitely not Lavender or Demelza. Hermione clearly works too but then Im a sucker for H/Hr. I liked Tutor Me but feel the challenge with a story like it is rewriting the backstory of H&Hr’s relationship so that they’re essentially strangers without actually providing the full backstory of each character; makes it hard to connect with the characters…. Like Hermione basically becomes a Susie Q despite bearing the name Hermione. I almost didnt get past the first couple chapters because of it but it became easier as the chapters went on just to see Harry & Hermione as “Harry & Hermione” without the history between them being rewritten, just Hermione not knowing Harry had such an active dating life or was so helpful to the girls. Demelza has the same problem of being a Susie Q in all but name since there really isn't much known about her at all beyond her infatuation and attempt to dose Harry with a love potion. Certainly other characters have similar weak backstories like the Greengrass sisters or really anyone on this list beyond Demelza but at least there's more within canon to build on.

Yeah, we need clarification on what are we voting on? (Edited: ) Also dear Professor if you want to tell story your way don't listen to naysayers, it can only hurt your creativity. It's your stories to begin with.

Jonas Kairiūkštis

Sorry, is this a poll for whose POV the story is told from, or is it just characters in the story? The wording at the top is a bit contradictory

FicFinder

Would be happy if it’s somebody else than Hermione, too much
