Roomtex Suit

Pretty much a year ago I bought a failed prototype of a Roomtex Suit from Val and got an extra one as a bonus. Well, I'm not sure it'd be fair to call it 'failed' as the problem was it was made for a 'much smaller person than we have'. In my never-ending foolishness I thought Carnelian would suffice. Imagine my surprise when I found out she's the same height as me - hardly a 'small person'. Whoops.
It's sort of like a climb-in I think but when we tried to get it big enough to get in it just popped. Wow. Great. We then resolved to putting it on Carnelian just like that, inflate-pull it up-inflate again-more progress etc. You can see the process in some of the pics. It was an incredibly tedious process. Thankfully we weren't short on helpers as I scheduled an all hands on deck shoot which included me, Carnelian and Celestine as the talent and Selenite and our illustrator Lily as helpers. Selenite's help was especially crucial for this (she also took all the cool photos you see below!). With her and Celestine's combined effort we managed to get the Suit on Carnelian... sort of. At least the latex catsuit helped with the slickness.
It was then that the reason for needing a 'smaller person' became apparent. Even stretched out, the balloon isn't long enough for the neck portion to be where it needs to be when worn by an average woman. Instead of a tight seal like on the arms or thighs it was like a T-shirt top. Hardly airtight.
Nevertheless, we resolved to make something, anything out of it. That's going to be this Saturday's video. Celestine had to hold the neck opening, pressing it into Carnelian's body so that the Suit would inflate. It's a very awkward affair and the balloon deflates twice. There's no crazy stuff happening, no bouncing on the balloon, no laying Carnelian down on the floor. And yet, it's still a video you'll not be getting elsewhere.
