Moon Stuff
Added 2024-02-17 19:00:03 +0000 UTCFor Drawain, of her character Nagao. Drawain has been looking at the sfw side of my work since before I began taking nsfw commissions, which made it extra cool that I got to work on something for her now that I'm trying to balance those two sides more evenly!
Nagao is associated with West-Northern Germany. A recent trip to the coast inspired me to use mud flats as an inspiration. While he is supposed to be very masculine, I wanted to show the constant shifting of balance that the moon requires. This I attempted to show in his own body's balance shifting from legs to his staff as well as the curving horizon line. Not 100% sure if the central axis of the two light sources reads in the same way, but I'm still happy with how it came out. Drawain did help with some important ideas for the composition at the end, such as the receding fence-like elements on the ground and the positioning of the darker clouds.
