Damon is such a complex character and that's what makes him so entertaining and leaves people captivated with his character. This episode is a prime example of why so many people love Damon other than his humour lol. On another note, Damon x Rose is one of the best friendships in this show. Tbh every Damon friendship is so fun and precious to watch in this show

Ian's acting in that last damon scene was SO GOOD, he literally EMBODIES Damon's character so perfectly that it amazes me no matter how many times I watch this show. I remember Ian talking about that scene and how he had to draw from a very dark place within him to enact the emotions in that scene as realistically as possible.

I did feel bad for him this episode. I was hoping this situation would make him actually grow but of course not. I felt so bad for Rose! I wish she didn't die. I think she would actually be good for Damon if he actually let people in. Plus she was a good character! I saw the Tyler and Caroline thing from a mile away, i mean how could you not fall for Caroline!
