Even in moments where Damon might have that sassy attitude, he still has the charm that many others simply don't which in turn can make it likable/passable

Doesn't feel as exciting and its kind of a bland pair. Caroline and Klaus however was spicy and overall an interesting fit

2023-03-24 21:42:10 +0000 UTCBonnie and Damon are magical but it wouldn't make sense for Damon's character to fall out of love with Elena. When Damon falls in love, he falls in love hard and it lasts forever, he's only ever been in love with two people his entire life and look at how long he loved Katherine until she broke his heart. The difference now is that he knows Elena loves him back so he definitely isn't giving up. Bonnie and Damon are the ship I wished had happened before Damon fully fell in love with Elena but the writers were too busy making them hate each other in the earlier seasons, even though in the books this show is based off of they actually had a thing together before he fell in love with Elena. Also Bonnie would never do something like that to Elena sadly, but I just know that BOTH of them had to have thought about it those 4 months they were stuck together, lol.
