2023-02-11 11:30:45 +0000 UTCYea Markos is a really terrible villain, it's one of the main reasons why this season wasn't as good as the others, the villains weren't good. Also you guys misunderstood that Stefan and Elena scene at the end, I don't know why you guys always assume the love triangle is coming back when that scene was showing us that the love triangle is gone for good. That scene was Stefan and Elena admitting that they are friends and nothing more, and that what they had, emphasis on HAD was special (which it was), but that they fell out of love and found something better, a friendship, and when Elena asked if he thought her and Damon could be friends he answered you could either be friends or in love but you can't be both because Stefan knows that Damon and Elena are still in love with each other, so them trying to be friends wouldn't work, which is why Damon pushed Elena away at the end of the episode, he can't be her friend if he's still in love with her, he's not Matt, lol. Rest assured, the love triangle is done, but don't get upset every time you see Stefan and Elena together because they are still friends and mean a lot to each other.
