Joe isn't a psycho, he's more of a sociopath like getting super technical here. He's more calculated in his behaviors, he's gotten less impulsive. Love is very impulsive and acts without thinking. Joe's obsession comes from his obvious parental problems like his mom abandoning him after he killed his dad. Then growing up an orphan is also gonna be rough. At some point, he got it in his head that love can fix everything. That became like the root of his sociopathy. This season goes crazy guys and I can't wait for you to see it!
