Any one know why they were sunglasses at the end of each reaction? Like is there some significance to it or like is it just branding the channel?

This show is the most meh of the Disney+ shows in my opinion, I wish we were able to see the show as they actually planned before Covid changed a lot of the storylines and plot elements they had intended. It has some great character moments but a lot of things fall flat. But on to the next one!

Did you even watch the episode? The whole thing was cringe, from Sam's cheesy delivery. To the forced real world lecturing to both the GRC and us the audience. It's cringe because it's not subtle at all and tries to cram it down your throat

Janice

Why do you guys find everything cringe? Especially Aqeel

Kinda dissapointed with your thoughts, but I kind of get it. I guess some people think about legacy differently. It's definitely not meant to be a rebranding of Cap, more a passing of the baton. Same thing, done by a different person. Legacy should never be left to rot in the dirt. Agree that John Walker is the best part of the show, but also Sam's journey was good. I think they wanted a more sympathetic villain, like Thanos. You cant agree but you get it. But Covid actually really hurt the development of this show, so I give it more slack than others. I am still excited to see Sam as Cap in the future! Next show is Loki, and I'm hoping you guys will like that! By the way, the reason John showed up randomly with a shield is because you missed an end credit scene last episode. It showed John making the shield.

I agreed with your entire critique, I was really excited for this show but was super disappointed and baffled by the choices the writers made. For me, the criticism lies with Disney and their lack of competence, not with the MCU. I really wish Disney would put out some good scripts with tight, interesting storylines and stop with this cliche garbage. This show could have been SO good, it's a bummer. Wanda had its problems but it was leagues better than FaWS.

I think that's where we fundamentally disagree. We shouldn't just "learn to be happy with what we're given". This is a product and you're saying it's okay to be complacent, accept it, and cheer it on regardless of quality? Because whether or not you like the direction, you can't honestly try and convince us that P4 is anything more than mediocre. And yes this is a matter of quality because MCU wants to jump ahead on storylines without understanding that they can't just skip stuff that adds important development and well-needed transitional timing. Also thats another opinon i disagree with, some good story at the start of the 2000s, but in the later half almost everything has been trash. It's been saturating the world, devaluing legacy characters, and the sales prove it. The comics are not gospel, some things are good while others aren't. At the end of the day whatever argument you can make for Captain America not to die with Steve, anyone can make a valid argument that it should.

Janice

sure i can respect that, but in ALOT of peoples eyes Sam Wilson is Captain America including the person who played Steve Rogers for almost a decade. we should learn to just be happy with what we're given lol. also, comics in the past 2 decades have some of the best plots in the entire comic run of Marvel, eg. The Thunderbolts, House of M, Avengers Disassembled, Civil War, etc. Steve Rogers isn't coming back, but the title of Captain America shouldn't have to die just because Steve is gone.

alejandro valles

No, we critique things if they are not well-written/justified. Some comic events are good and should be followed, others shouldn't (especially stuff in the past 2 decades), as most of it is hot-garbage. If you can't differentiate why some comic events are okay and others aren't then you're lost lol. Also since when is Chris Evans some authority on canon? In my eyes, and in ALOT of peoples eyes.. Steve Rogers is Captain America, and Sam Wilson is Falcon, simple as that.

Janice

John Walker joining Val isn't a redemption arc btw. John joined a group called the Thunderbolts who aren't heroes, nor are they villains, they're anti-heroes

alejandro valles

let's not forget you guys complain about the mcu not being comic accurate, but when they are comic accurate you still complain. Sam was Cap in the comics, and Chris Evans himself says Sam IS Cap. nothing is going to change that

alejandro valles

Don't listen to the mindless sheep that just swallow up everything DIsney shits out lol You guys have a mind of your own and don't shy away from criticizing. Keep it up. I also agree with almost every point you all made

Lew. D

I agree with them, sam should never have been cap. America.
