It delivers expressiveness and clarity that can possibly rival top commercial TTS providers. With just a few seconds of reference audio, Zonos can accurately mimic voices, capturing subtle inflections, tone shifts, and emotional nuance.
Unlike more accessible tools like f5-tts-plus, Zonos requires a WSL setup, but the tradeoff is higher-quality output with fine control over pitch, speed, and emotion. In this guide, we’ll walk step-by-step through installing and using Zonos to generate natural, lifelike speech from text.
NOTE There are two installations available: Windows and Linux (WSL)
Directions:
(Windows)
1. Extract Zip Contents
2. Double Click zonos-install-windows-cuda12.8.bat
3. Double Click zonos-run.bat
(WSL)
0. Open up fully set-up WSL
1. Extract Zip Contents
2. type ./install-zonos.sh
3. type ./run-zonos.sh
4. Enter 127.0.0.1:7860 in the Browser window
