You should watch fate/zero first. Its the first series of the reboot. Skip 2006 series. Its absolutely dreadful. Fate/zero sets up unlimited blade works. So i recommend watching that first

2020-10-11 17:26:25 +0000 UTClol not 2006 Fate, please no... it's something I would recommend watching after Ufotable's adaptations IF that particular person was really interested in the Fate series. The 06 Fate animation was dated even when it released, it hasn't aged well either and the whole thing was just a poor adaptation by Studio Deen. Don't get me wrong... I loved the ending to 06 Fate but it's really not worth the time unless you're really into the series and I would never recommend someone watch it before Ufotables adaptations.

You just watched "Book/Path 2" of the Fate/Stay Night series, "Unlimited Blade Works." Book/Path 1 is just called Fate Stay Night 2006 and Book/Path 3 is called Heaven's Feel. I recommend you start with the 2006 anime first to get the full story otherwise you'll be a little lost on what's happening. But yeah, I'd love to see your reactions to this.
