Yeah, you're totally right. About Boosty, seems like it works with paypal, so it shouldn't be a problem to pay in usd/eur after all. But again, it's not over, there is some time and no one have to change anything for now. My brother lives in Germany, mb I can use his paypal if won't be able to find anything else. I have zero knowledge about crypto in general, not to say about services that use it.

2022-11-17 05:42:05 +0000 UTCI've never heard of boosty, after taking a quick look it seems like a Russian version of Patreon. Is it Rubel only? By checking your boosty page subscription price is in Ruble, which is quite problematic for us who live in the western part of the world. It's similarly hard for us to pay in Ruble as for you to receive USD/EUR payments, if not even harder. :/ I'm afraid this situation will get only worse in the next few months (years?), a new iron curtain is building before our eyes. Isn't there a Patreon clone which allows crypto payments? (I mean where you would receive crypto as a creator). It's harder to restrict crypto than traditional payment methods, crypto wallets are "international".

It's just the question of whether it's comfortable for you to use this service or not. I'm also trying to think something with paypal to keep running this patreon page. So it's not over yet.
