I'm so glad you watched this after watching some Firefly. Director James Gunn often casts his favorite people in his movies, and Nathan Fillion must be his very favorite person. Gunn's first big movie is one of my favorite Horror movies, Slither (2006), with Fillion as the star and it also stars Michael Rooker (Yondu) and Gregg Henry (Grandpa Quill). After watching your Firefly video earlier today I'd made a comment about watching Farscape (1999) in the future as another space opera. It's funny because James Gunn is a big Farscape fan and his Guardians movies are about as inspired by that show as they are by the Marvel Comics, so I'm fairly sure you would fall in love with it as well.

2023-11-27 07:42:58 +0000 UTCI honestly haven't watched a Marvel movie since that piece of hot garbage 'Thor: Love and Thunder' broke my spirit, so I'm watching this for the first time, and I was crying right along with you. I'd heard it was incredible but very sad, yet I still wasn't prepared. Anyway, I can't wait to see Star Lord's new lawn care movie. Sounds like fun.
