Even if he managed to beat Bocca, the doorās shut, and if a new threat hits Earth, Lakia and Hanto are on their own. Without Shouma in the human world, Hanto loses his āsnack source,ā leaving Lakia completely solo. I know thatās thinking a bit far ahead, but Shoumaās power relies on the human world, which he needs if heās going to keep fighting and protecting people (and Granutes). As for Nyelv, it feels out of character that he didnāt anticipate Boccaās countermeasure, imo. If Shouma couldāve done anything differently, it wouldāve been to confide in his allies before making that choice. Heās done this before with Sachika, so he should know better by now.

2025-08-11 01:26:01 +0000 UTCThe whole thing with "Shouma not thinking it through" with Nyelv's offer, I get he could've rejected Nyelv but as he isn't strong enough himself to stop Bocca, it was the best plan available to take a gamble.. I'm curious what you think what else Shouma could've done better than what Nyelv planned? It's messed up but it makes sense.
