A sneak peek at some upcoming projects 👀
Added 2024-12-01 21:15:17 +0000 UTCHelllo! ☝️ Now that the playthrough of Slay the Princess is complete, it's time to choose a new project! I've got three on my radar thanks to many recent recommendations. I'll probably check out Mouthwashing first as it's a more recent title that might not have as much analysis done on it yet, then we'll circle back to the other two. I have never played any of these so I am going in blind on all three. In the meantime, I've still got the Disco Elysium playthrough to finish (recording an episode today) and plenty more of Slay the Princess to explore (different routes, endings, Pristine Cut content), plus a secret other game that I am playing but want to finish before I upload anything to ensure I experience it without any spoilers whatsoever. So, lots of great stuff coming up! Stay tuned 🩵

I feel like The Stanley Parable has a similar vibe to Slay the Princess, so it might come down to whether you’d prefer to continue along that route and then switch things up with Doki Doki, or take a break from Slay the Princess/The Stanley Parable before circling back. I know I speak for all of us when I say we’ll absolutely love either approach! Wishing you a fantastic day!

But the best one for views (and we're invested in you getting a shiny penny from YouTube since you're doing cool stuff for educating us all in psychology in an engaging form) would indeed be Mouthwashing. Though it is quite the horror. Doki-Doki is also good, but I'll put it off until the end for reasons (can't spoil it either).

With Stanley, as long as you "ignore" the new Door and explore the original first...this is gonna be something. Everything here fits with your desire to play games and dive into them DEEP, while not be tied down forever. Mouthwashing is "short" and Stanley is as long as you need it to.

Stanley Parable and DDLC are two of my favorite games, and they're also relatively brief so you're not going to be embarking on a massive project like Disco Elysium haha. Absolutely loved your Slay the Princess playthrough and I'm super excited for whatever it is you choose to do next--thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to make these videos!!

2024-12-01 21:24:42 +0000 UTCalso, i think the stanley parable will probably remind you of slay the princess because of the narrator, there's specifically an ending that you did in your playthrough that reminds me a lot of one of the scenes in that game, so i'm looking forward to that too 🙏🏻
