Second, I’m gonna post another Seclusion chapter on Royal Road and Scribble Hub today, since I’m participating in the Writathon and want to get a few chapters out. At the same time, I’m aiming to give you at least 5 new Seclusion chapters next week, starting Tuesday. It’ll be pretty tough, but I’m hyped to finally reach the part of the story where things really kick off. I really want to dive into Arc 2 this month.
I’m still debating whether to use the same kind of System I use in Primordial Ice or TREEvolution.
Ice is like a mix of Skyrim and Gothic, with extra elements—LP, Milestones, Proficiency, Pathways, Classes, etc. It’s pretty complex.
For TREEvolution, well… just check out the story. It’s less complex in structure, more grounded, but it also gets deeper the further the evolutions go.
Also, I’m trying to get two more Treevolution chapters out today or tomorrow on the side. I’m just polishing grammar and stuff right now—the drafts are already done.
Primordial Ice will return the week after. I’m still working on setting up the System so it’s easy to understand without dumping a ton of info upfront. The hardest part for me in these stories is always the System itself, but once that’s done, updates should come faster.
Earthbound and Dear Dream Journal chapters are also in the works—I’m just taking them slower since they’re a whole different genre/mood from what I usually write.
