If the extended duration without a completed orchestration was any indication, my music practice has clearly had better days. It's difficult to accept this composition was originally conceived five months ago, but was only finished a few days before the new year; unfortunately, I must begin to question where music fits within my overall plans since time only permits me so much effort to share between my three disciplines...I never want to stop composing music, but I cannot guarantee it will be more than an infrequent part of my overall production: this was always meant to be a tertiary skill to support my writing and art, both of which have claimed a higher priority amidst my new, entrepreneurial responsibilities.

Let us see what awaits for my music in 2026; perhaps we'll all be pleasantly surprised...
