Thank you for your patience while I settle from a busy past few months, and gradually regain my creative rhythm. It’s difficult to believe this piece was started nearly three months ago, yet still requires several weeks before it can be considered finished; a part of me wishes I had traded a convention or Weretober to focus on painting it instead, but I’d like to believe the prologued effort will reap a unique set of rewards. What truly I miss most, I think, are the academic studies I once regularly performed, too, the associated sense of improvement accompanied by each; thankfully, I’m no longer pressed for time, so don’t be surprised if a few sketches are posted in the interim.
