Casting Call: Primal Quest
Added 2022-08-11 02:48:48 +0000 UTCConcept: Primal Quest is a streamlined set of rules for weird stone & sorcery adventures in a mythical world where humanity survives side by side with dinosaurs, aliens, and creatures more ancient than the world itself.
Aim: OSR feel with simple rules and a modern design. I am imagining characters are part of a primitive tribe living in a dangerous world. 3-6 sessions. Ideally on Tuesdays, once a month.
Tone: I want to embrace the stone and sorcery along with the danger and strange. Dinosaurs and the unknown. Low magic and characters rely on each other and the tribe to survive. Will we laugh? Yes. Will it be goofy? No.
Subject Matter: There will be violence and survival. Stone-tipped spears in a strange and uncaring world. I want to explore the unknown and the idea that the only chance of survival is the tribe and the party.
When: Tuesday nights around 8p ET.
Casting: Patrons that have not played on the channel get preference. I always consider diversity in my casting.
