Build 04.14.22 release notes

Hello dear Patrons,

As I continue with the UI redesign, today I bring you another cool release this time featuring a brand new Inventory UI and Shop UI. I hope you like the new design.

Another big updates in this release are 2 new monsters added, code improvements/estability and updated the Canvas modding platform to work better with the current version of the game.

Here are the full release notes:


GAME

+Added new Big Scorpion enemy.

+Added new Big Bat enemy.

+Game now allows modding platforms to initialize game with certian settings

+Lots of code refactoring

+Added new original CGs for player's relief (wink) events (in bedroom and in public restroom).

+Removed a lot of placeholder CGs.

+Updated tutorials images to reflect latest UI update.

+Reduced the chance of showing events in the forest since it was too high and annoying.

+Added Big Bat and Big Scorpion monsters to the sewers dungeon.


UI

+Completely redesigned the Inventory UI.

+Other UIs should now have a similar look like the new Inventory UI.

+Added new icons for the new Inventory UI.

+Shop UI has been redesigned to use the grid view (like the inventory) and now has tabs to Buy or Sell items.

+Item tiles should now show the price when displaying on the shop UI.


ENGINE

+Added ability to configure the chance of a random scene events on locations.

+Lots of refactor and bug fixes.


CANVAS (modding platform)

+Added a new way to load the original HTopia game's latest version and test the mod project in it.

+Game can now load a mod project on the fly by passing modding settings (internal).

+Fixed a lot of issues in the project after being outdated for quite a while.

+Created characters now get a random inventory of clothing + outfit.

+Character Clothing editor now works properly off the character inventory.
