This group had allied itself with the Fractsidus, but their methods proved to be excessively violent—their goal was to indiscriminately assassinate key figures of power within Jinzhou.
The first victim was Changli. Despite being an exceptionally skilled swordswoman, a grandmaster, and even the mentor of the city’s ruler, she led a nomadic life and rarely returned to the city. Her absence raised no immediate suspicions. The rebels launched a silent ambush against her. Although she sensed the attack in time, she failed to detect every assailant present. While those in front engaged her attention, another slipped behind unnoticed. At the crucial moment, when her guard was down for even an instant, a single strike severed her head from her body. Shock flooded her fading consciousness as everything blurred into darkness.
I'm not very available right now since university work is keeping me busy. I can only draw one page at the moment. But I think I want to expand this series and create more characters in Wuwa. In a way, just drawing like this is actually quite convenient.
