2025-10-13 03:01:13 +0000 UTCAs a follow up to my comment on ep. 165, this form got referred to as both "Super Saiyan 2" and "Super Saiyan Grade 5". After this, they did away with the "grades" notation. SSJ2 is stated to be a x2 multiplier on top of SSJ (which is a x50 on top of base), but you also need to account for Gohan's rage boost, which can't be really quantified as a multiplier (remember that he went from 1 to more than 1300 in the Raditz fight, imagine if he was getting a x1300 multiplier here on top of the SSJ2 x2 and on top of being already above Goku in base ๐ฑ). The fact that he just killed 8 mini-Cells out of a total of 7 was probably an animation mistake (you correctly counted the "last" kill at at 41:40), but some people like to think it's just a demonstration of how badass Gohan is. And, if you like what he did to these brats, wait to see what he does with the big one ๐ I'm not going to jump into a discussion of which version / soundtrack is best, since I'd be unavoidably biased. The Catalan dub I grew up with used the Unmei no Hi theme (the one from the original Japanese), but they put in some Catalan lyrics that, AFAIK, aren't an accurate translation. In any case, I can only say that my goosebumps get goosebumps anytime I listen any version of that theme.
