Sounds familiar right? Dancing in the Moonlight of course by King Harvest.

What also sounds familiar is Annelise waking up and heading to Rinsdale at the very start of the visual novel.
But what happened the night before?

You’ll find out in the 0.5 update. That missing piece will be added right at the beginning.
Hint: there's a part two to the screenshot above.

I’ve also been trying something new this time around.

Instead of writing the full story first and creating the renders after, I flipped it. Started with the visuals first.
A lot of times I’d write out a scene only to find the location didn’t work, or a moment felt flat or wrong when turning it into an image, or some things were just too difficult to create. That led to a lot of rewriting. So this time, I’m letting the visuals go first, based on the small synopsis I already have of the story.

Still a bit of a test run, but so far it’s working well.
I just finished a full day in the world of Aracelis (most of the renders still need to be rendered), but I’m already much further along than I was with 0.3 or 0.4 at this point. Mostly because I’ve had more time than usual lately, which probably won’t happen again anytime soon, so I’m making use of it.

Planning to add another day, or at least half a day to the update, and then move on to the writing.
