đŠ Caught in the Rain â A Stormy Encounter đŠ
Added 2025-03-12 13:00:21 +0000 UTCA sudden downpour. A teasing smirk. Clothes clinging to rain-slicked skin.
You shouldâve listened when they warned you about getting caught in the storm⊠but maybe, just maybe, this was exactly where you were meant to be. Alone. Drenched. Pressed against one another, your touch burning hotter than the thunder rumbling above.
The rain may be cold, but your lips? Your hands? Your wicked, lingering promises? Oh, sweetheart⊠theyâre scorching. đ„
Come get lost in the downpour. Come let the storm take you. đ
~~~~~
The first drop lands on my cheek, cool against the warmth of the summer night. Then another. And another.
I glance up at the sky, watching dark clouds roll over the moon, swallowing its glow. The scent of rain thickens in the air, damp earth and something electric, something restless.
âYou shouldâve listened to me,â a voice purrs behind me.
I turn, and there you areâleaning against the car, arms crossed, that smug little smirk tugging at your lips.
I roll my eyes. âOh, donât start.â
âI told you we wouldnât make it back before the storm.â
Lightning flashes in the distance, illuminating the empty stretch of road, the tree line shivering with the wind. The downpour is inevitable now.
And yet, neither of us moves.
The first real wave of rain crashes down around us. Within seconds, weâre soakedâclothes clinging, droplets sliding down my skin like teasing fingers. The air between us crackles, sharper than the thunder rumbling above.
You push off the car and step closer, water running through your hair, dripping onto your lips as you tilt your head at me. âTold you so.â
I should be annoyed. Should push past you, get in the car, crank up the heat.
But all I can think about is how unfairly good you look like thisâsoaked, breathless, eyes dark with something neither of us wants to name.
I shiver, though not from the cold.
You notice.
Your gaze flickers down my body, over my rain-slicked skin, my clothes molding to every curve. When your eyes meet mine again, theyâre darker. More dangerous.
âYouâre staring,â I murmur.
âSo are you.â
The words are barely out of my mouth before you reach for me, fingers curling at my waist, tugging me flush against you. The heat of your body burns through the cold fabric of our clothes, a sharp contrast to the rain pelting down.
âYouâre soaked,â you whisper, lips just inches from mine.
âSo are you.â
Your fingers trace slow, lazy circles at my hip, teasing, promising. The storm rages around us, wind whipping my hair, but youâre all I can feelâyour breath, your touch, the way you tilt my chin up with just a finger, forcing me to meet your gaze.
âTell me to stop,â you murmur.
I donât.
Instead, I arch into you, pressing closer, my lips parting in anticipation, in surrender.
And thatâs all the invitation you need.
You kiss me like the storm itselfâwild, unrelenting, all-consuming. Your hands tighten on my waist, pulling me even closer, like you want to drown in me. The rain slides between us, cold and sharp, but your mouth is fire, chasing away the chill.
I gasp as your lips trail down my neck, your breath hot against my skin. My fingers tangle in your rain-drenched hair, pulling, needing.
âI should make you beg,â you murmur against my throat, voice laced with wicked amusement.
I shudder, nails digging into your shoulders. âYouâre such a tease.â
You chuckle, low and dark, before capturing my lips againâpunishing, rewarding, claiming.
The storm howls, wind rattling the trees, but we donât care.
Out here, under the rain, in the middle of nowhere⊠we are nothing but heat and hunger.
And neither of us is willing to stop.
I'd be lying if I didn't admit that smutty books frequent my reading roster.
